Some truly uplifting news.

In August, we learned some truly saddening news that competitive eater, YouTube star, and fitness lover known as Furious Pete was diagnosed with a second round of cancer. We all held onto hope as Pete was able to go through radiation therapy in the hopes of overcoming this terrible disease. Well, yesterday we got our first piece of good news from Furious Pete in the form of a very emotional and truly uplifting video. As stated in the video above – his HCG levels are below one – which is a great sign. It doesn’t mean he will be guaranteed a cure – but this is the first step towards being cancer free and hope and good news are so vital in these kinds of situations. We all here at Generation Iron offer all of our strength and support to Furious Pete – and are truly uplifted to see him so happy in this moment.
