The reason why Gold’s Gym is known as the birthplace of modern bodybuilding is simply because it was THE gym that so many bodybuilders trained at before they became greats. Especially one of the biggest bodybuilders to bring the sport closer to mainstream – Arnold Schwarzenegger.

This was essentially his home away from home. His extended family of bodybuilders were all there, his number one passion was there – it was essentially his second birthplace upon coming to America. So it’s always great to see The Austrian Oak return to his roots back at Muscle Beach and inspire the new up and coming bodybuilders looking to become the next iconic champion.
