“So how can I not be motivated when that’s all I can think about?”

Some things come natural to us, some things don’t. In the modern world of comforts and jobs that rely mostly on computers and machines to do hard work for us… it may come natural for many to NOT want to workout. It is easier after all to sit down, eat delicious junk food, and watch Netflix. That is true for pro bodybuilders as well. But they make a choice. A choice to do the hard thing every day – even when they are tired or want to goof off. We often see people with setbacks and disabilities perform amazing things. An armless man learning how to do a deadlift or drive a car. We think to ourselves, “Wow, that is so inspirational! How did they do that?”

They did it because they didn’t take the easy way out. They didn’t get comfortable. They listened to that nagging part of their brain that demands they improve. Everyone has that inside of them. For some that voice is loud, for others the voice is barely a whisper. But if you hear that voice – even for a second – then how could you NOT try everything in your power to make that voice become a reality?
