Bodybuilders test their coordination and flexibility on the pole.
Bodybuilding is display of muscle and aesthetics first and foremost. It’s not about strength and it’s not about functional athleticism. So you know when Buzzfeed asks a few local bodybuilders to try their hand at pole dancing… that it just wouldn’t go very well.
Massive bulky muscles and flexibility to not mix for the most part. Then add the fact that anyone who tries pole dancing for the first time will probably fall on their ass – and you have a disaster waiting to happen (albeit a very entertaining disaster).
Check out the video above and enjoy the ride. But the key thing to take away from this is… stick with bodybuilding. It’s already impressive enough on it’s own.
