WATCH DAN GREEN DO 881 LBS DEADLIFTS LIKE IT’S NOTHING

Generation Iron Dan Green

Dan Green is a beast.

With the CT Fletcher movie on the horizon it’s hard not to delve deeper and deeper into the world of powerlifting. It’s a sport that compliments bodybuilding pretty well. Besides building an aesthetic physique, a lifter is always looking to build strength to compliment the shredded look. No matter how you slice it, bodybuilding is as much about being powerful as it is about looking powerful. It’s been said before and no doubt will be said until the end of time, looking jacked is great, but if there’s no strength to back it up then what’s the point.

A bodybuilder isn’t necessarily going to be as strong as an powerlifter, that’s common knowledge. But it let’s face it, you want to look good and lift just as much as any competitive powerlifter out there. If anyone is a prime example of being a powerful bodybuilder it’s the great Ronnie Coleman and just look how great his career turned out. On the flip side there are competitive powerlifters that if given the chance and some time to perfect their physiques could easily compete in a bodybuilding competition and do pretty well – it’s rare but not outside of the realm of possibility. Dan Green is one such powerlifter.

Dan has not only the great strength of a well respected powerlifter, but he also appears to have the genetics one would need to compete in bodybuilding at a high level. Dan has been competing in powerlifting for eight years now and has already made a name for himself as one of the most athletic individuals in the sport. If you need proof to back up those words then check out the impressive video below of the powerlifter deadlifting like it’s just another day in the office.
