Was Jay Cutler’s 3rd Olympia win one of the best comebacks in the sport?

Jay Cutler is best known as a 4x Mr. Olympia champion and one of the small number of bodybuilders that can claim to be the best in the world. But as time puts Jay Cutler’s reign further and further into the past – some younger fans may forget that Jay Cutler had a loss in between his second and 3rd Sandow trophy. That loss came at the hands of Dexter Jackson – one of the few one-time Mr. Olympia champions.

The reason for Dexter only having a one-time status is due to Jay Cutler’s incredible comeback the next year. This was a time when nothing was guaranteed and fans were clamoring to see if Dexter would repeat win or if Jay Cutler would come back with a vengeance.

He certainly came back in spectacular form and this video, compiled by Raiden Motivation, showcases the drama and makes the case for this being one of the best bodybuilding comebacks in the history of the sport.
