How much cardio should you be doing before it kills your gains?

Bodybuilders hate cardio. It’s a stereotype that mostly holds up. But unfortunately it’s necessary in any workout and while cardio must be kept to a minimum for bodybuilders due to risk of burning away muscle mass, it’s still a vital part of the equation. So the question becomes – how much cardio is too much?
