Regan Grimes shares his opinion about Men’s Open bodybuilding.

There’s been a lot of talk about the Classic Physique division since its inception. Most of the dialogue is about whether or not it will become more popular than Men’s Open bodybuilding. Admittedly, this is mostly a loaded question. A kind of change like that can take years if not over a decade to take hold – and most of the hype and talk is just blind guessing at this point. But that doesn’t change the fact that Classic Physique is a very successful and popular division right off the bat. Because of this there will be constant comparisons to Men’s Open bodybuilding – regardless of whether or not it overtakes the division one day.

Regan Grimes is the latest to give his opinion about Classic Physique vs Men’s Open, stating that being 300 lbs in the off season is just unhealthy. Period. Forget about the popularity of the divisions. Forget about the quality of the physiques for a moment. Regan is just talking about the sustainability of a lifestyle at 300 lbs.
