Ric Drasin has proved time and time again that he is the premiere oral historian of bodybuilding. Having been smack dab in the middle of Gold’s Gym through it’s prime years and then some – Ric has some fantastic first hand accounts of the greats that you won’t hear anywhere else.

He’s gone quite in depth about the Golden Era in numerous videos – but rarely touched upon the 80s and beyond. So it’s with great excitement that we share one of Ric’s latest videos breaking down bodybuilding in the late 70s and 80s – after Gold’s Gym was sold by it’s original owner and things started to change in the culture of bodybuilding and the look of bodybuilding physiques.
