WATCH: ROELLY WINKLAAR’S PHYSIQUE IS MORE IMPRESSIVE THAN EVER AT BODYPOWER 2016

Generation Iron Roelly Winklaar BodyPower 2016

The Roelly we all wanted is back.

The world of professional bodybuilding is filled with athletes with otherworldly genetics that has granted them the ability to build physiques that many would consider unnatural. The amount of muscle they’re able to cultivate seems completely unreal, yet through consistent training and proper nutrition these men are able to do the impossible. Though it would seem that individuals like these would appear in the sport few and far between, the reality is that there are tons of competitors with this kind of inhuman potential. It’s at once amazing and unfortunate. These individuals are unlike many normal human beings, yet they can be lost in the sea of competitors involved in the sport.

That’s the exact problem that Roelly Winklaar has faced during his career.

Though he may have that same genetic potential that sets him apart from the average human, Winklaar often has trouble against the cream of the crop. Bodybuilders like Phil Heath, Kai Greene, and Dexter Jackson to name a few are always placing higher than the impressive Winklaar. Roelly has the size and definition of a top flight competitor, but has been missing that element of greatness that so many of the top 5 possess.

Or at least that was the argument in the past. Lately it seems that Roelly has been looking more impressive than usual. His conditioning has been improving as well as his presentation. With so many talented bodybuilders out there it makes sense that Roelly has to step up is game and it appears that he’s done just that. His recent win at the BodyPower pro showed that Winklaar has been working hard and looks as impressive as ever.

Now that he’s qualified, it will be interesting to see where Roelly will place at the 2016 Olympia. Only time will tell.

Do you think Roelly Winklaar has improved?
