Watson, 42, emerged on social media on Wednesday as his mugshot went viral. According to a viral post on X, Watson was arrested in the morning and booked into the Broward County Jail. The Hallandale Beach Police Department was listed as the arresting agency.
The post also shared that Watson is facing five charges including armed robbery, felony battery, aggravated assault, and witness pampering. Multiple outlets have picked up this report, however the rap sheet has not been verified independently. Despite the detailed nature of the rap sheet, there is confusion given the fact that Watson himself or the authorities have not confirmed the arrest.

Wes Watson Previously Arrested in 2025
Wes Watson was previously arrested in 2025 on aggravated assault and battery charges following a fight that broke out at Elev8tion Fitness Miami.
Shortly after the assault, it was unclear if Miami police had footage of the incident as it was being framed as self defense by Watson. It showed a four-on-one attack by Watson and others on one man. It was reported that the original video showed just eight punches being thrown but it was actually more, including the use of weapons.
Watson has been open about his time in prison, often sharing stories about his time in a California jail. Watson was arrested at a young age and served 10 years for assault and battery charges. Following his release in 2018, Watson began growing his brand as a coach and quickly became popular on social media, leading to revenue through sales.
Full details have not been released officially about the situation that led to Watson’s arrest or the official charges. More will be released in the coming days about the ongoing situation.
