Will Barotti wasn’t the only lifter to push past the 1050lb mark. Fellow powerhouses Tony Carlino and Jimmy Kolb showcased their superhuman strength at the meet as well.

Tony Carlino took second place with a massive 1085.8lb bench press. The powerlifter shared his bench press on his Instagram.

My only successful bench from the @baddestbencher meet, but good enough for 2nd place and broke my own WR by 5.8lbs. Gotta get my left side activated better and make the next one cleaner, but I’ll definitely take this.

This time 2 years ago I was in the hospital in a coma fighting for my life, and now I’m on the biggest bench stage of them all. Very honored to have been a part of this and share the platform with all these incredible athletes.

Jimmy Kolb who took third at the competition was able to hit the 1080lb mark with his bench press.

1,080lbs single ply bench at the @baddestbencher this weekend breaking my own single ply ATWR. This lift gave me a 3rd place finish, and I am so thankful to have been given this opportunity. It was very cool to see the different ways and manners in which each athlete warmed up especially seeing the warm up difference between using a poly shirt and the others using unlimited. Then we had the meet rituals, music choices, and different personalities and teams meshing together in one room. It truly was a unique experience. I had only one light beeping on my radar this weekend, and it was me walking away with a personal best. I’ll be back in the gym shirting up on Saturday getting ready for the next one. 1100+ Single Ply. I’ve got an extensive thank you post coming soon, because this was not done alone, for now, you know who you are and you know I wouldn’t be here without you.
