Bodybuilding Motivation: It can be hard to push yourself to go to the gym on those days when it feels like too much.

We all know the ones: those easy excuses. Well, something bad happened at work, so I deserve a day off. I really pushed myself last week so it’s alright for me to slack off this week. If I don’t do it today, I’ll do it even better tomorrow.

When it comes to working out and really building a body that you can be proud of: consistency matters. Consistency matters more than anything else. And that self-discipline is good for you, not only in the gym, but in everything that you do. It makes you a stronger person, a better worker, and a more motivated human being. You just have to remind yourself through your weak moments that it’s worth it. It’s worth it because it’s worth investing in yourself. Take this time for you — it’s not about your job or your friends or the bills you have to pay or any of your other responsibilities in life. Like Arnold says: it’s about believing in yourself.
