Breaking down the World’s Strongest Man 2020 Day 1 Finals
The day one finals for the World’s Strongest Man 2020 is finally here. After a few fits and starts, the competition went underway on Thursday – a day later than was originally planned due to inclement weather on Wednesday. This led to a much more intense schedule than originally planned. Friday was meant to be a rest day after the qualification rounds. Instead, there was no break in between.
At the end of the day, ten competitors rose up to the finals round – leading to a reset of points and a fresh start barreling towards crowning the World’s Strongest Man. It should also be noted that Graham Hicks withdrew on day one of the Finals after suffering a torn biceps.
