A breakdown of the World’s Strongest Man 2020 Day 2 Qualifier Results
The World’s Strongest Man 2020 competition is now officially underway after a series of starts and stops throughout the year leading up to this week.
Today was to be a scheduled rest day, but due to Day 1 being cancelled Wednesday and moved to Thursday, Friday marked Day 2 of the event. The competition continues it’s four day straight event for the competitors.
The Day 2 qualifying stage has come to a close with five qualifier groups, containing five strongman competitors each, having completed two events. As the second qualifier day closed out – we have our ten finalists announced who will now go on to the finals round this weekend.

Dumbbell Clean & Press Medley
Groups two, three, and five will clean and press four increasing dumbbells. They will also clean and press “monster dumbbell” with thick handle for max reps within 75 seconds.

Atlas Stone Series
After the end of the qualifications, the top two strongmen with the most points in their groups will make it into the WSM finals. If second and third place tie, they will complete an Atlas Stone series. The event would play out as follows: An 8 stone series which will determine who accompanies first place finishers in finals.
