Hulk Hogan’s health had reportedly been declining in recent weeks.
Professional wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has died at 71 years old. According to reports from TMZ, medics responded to a “cardiac arrest” call to Hogan’s home in Clearwater, Florida on Thursday morning.
There were many police cars and EMTs parked outside of the home early in the morning. Hogan was then carried out of his home on a stretcher and placed into an ambulance.
Over the last week, there have been talks about Hogan’s declining health. This includes his wife, Sky, declining that he was in a coma while he was recovering from surgery. In June, TMZ reported on rumors that Hogan was “on his deathbed” but were told he was dealing with symptoms of a neck fusion procedure from May.
Once he stepped out of the ring on a consistent basis, Hogan has gone through many medical procedures to fix certain injuries that he suffered during his career. This includes hip and knee replacements. Hogan previously stated that he had undergone around 25 surgeries over the last decade, with 10 being back surgeries.

Hogan brought a charismatic personality and incredible physique into the ring and became a sensation immediately. During Wrestlemania III, Hogan and Andre The Giant squared off in what turned into one of the biggest moments in wrestling history. Hogan slammed Andre and this brought his insane strength to light. During his wrestling career, Hogan was also given many opportunities on the big screen. This includes being part of Rocky III.
Hogan was initially inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005. He was then removed 10 years later following a scandal involving racist comments made while he was being secretly recorded. Hogan was inducted for a second time as he went in with the NWO.
Hulk Hogan had rebuilt his overall diet plan in recent years. “Hollywood Hogan” worked to live a clean life and has removed sugar and alcohol from his diet. He focued on going organic to add more antioxidants.
