Justin “Shock the World” Compton

generation iron

A young gun with loads of potential, Compton has all the qualities one would want out of a top prospect; youth, dedication, and the genetics to make some major leaps in his physique. Like most young men in the sport, Compton will have to pay his dues and work his way up the ladder before he’ll be considered for title contention. The good news is that Compton has already qualified into the Olympia this past year – though he decided to stay away from this one. Skipping out on the Olympia in order to ensure he brings something new to the table, Compton shows a level of maturity that will carry him far in his career and shows that he is already thinking ahead to that glorious day where he grabs the Sandow trophy.

Cedric “The One” McMillan

generation iron

As an army instructor, there’s no doubt that Cedric has the kind of resolve to push himself to the Olympia title. “The One” has quite the following, many fans believing in his potential to eventually become champion. With classic lines and modern muscle, Cedric is a super charged version of the best of bodybuilding’s golden age. He’s already being compared to legends like 8-time Mr. Olympia Lee Haney, and Serge Nubret. He has great size, conditioning and a defined physique that’s sure to take him far in the sport. We’re not ruling out an Olympia win in the coming years.

Mamdouh “Big Ramy” Elssbiay

The man known as “Big Ramy” is a mass monster not to be reckoned with on the posing stage. Big Ramy has the size and symmetry to give the champion some worry.  He does have some weaknesses that he needs to overcome in order to attain that championship status. But the honest truth is that Big Ramy is still a relatively young pro competitor. He’s only competed as a pro for two years and has already placed 7th at Mr. Olympia. Big Ramy has plenty of time to build up his calves, tighten his conditioning, and charge forward to win the title.

Check out our last two picks for Phil Heath’s successor on page 2!
