2026 North America’s Strongest Man & Woman Lineups Revealed Ahead of Major Showdown in Canada

Some of North America’s biggest names in strength sports are set to collide when the 2026 North America’s Strongest Man & Woman competitions take place on July 25-26, 2026, in Victoriaville, Quebec, Canada, featuring elite competitors from the United States and Canada. The lineups for the 2026 North America’s Strongest Man & Woman have now been revealed.  The annual contest will serve as one of the premier Strongman events of the summer, with returning champions, former titleholders, and rising contenders all looking to make their mark.

The men’s field features former champions and international stars like Trey Mitchell and Evan Singleton, while the women’s competition is headlined by legendary Strongwoman Inez Carrasquillo alongside Arnold Strongwoman Classic champion Angelica Jardine. With deep lineups on both sides, fans can expect one of the most competitive editions of the event in recent memory.

2026 North America’s Strongest Man Lineup

The men’s competition features 14 athletes representing the United States and Canada:

Preferred source
  • Wesley Derwinsky
  • Gabriel Rhéaume
  • James Jeffers
  • Larson Hehr
  • Bryce Johnson
  • Trey Mitchell
  • Nick Wortham
  • Evan Singleton
  • Thomas Evans
  • Andrew Langelaar
  • Colten Sloan
  • Nick Guardione
  • Mathieu Poirier
  • Josh Spurgeon

Bryce Johnson Looks to Defend His Title

Reigning champion Bryce Johnson returns after capturing the 2025 North America’s Strongest Man crown. A successful defense would give Johnson back-to-back titles and further establish him among the continent’s elite competitors.

Standing in his way is Trey Mitchell, who won the event in 2023 and returns looking to reclaim the championship after sitting out last year’s contest. Mitchell remains one of the sport’s most accomplished competitors and is expected to be among the favorites entering the weekend.

Another major storyline is the appearance of Evan Singleton, who will be making his North America’s Strongest Man debut despite already being one of the sport’s most recognizable international athletes. Singleton’s explosive athleticism makes him an immediate threat for the title.

The field also includes emerging talents such as Nick Guardione and Thomas Evans, both of whom have delivered impressive performances over the past year and could challenge for a podium finish if they put together strong performances across the weekend.

2026 North America’s Strongest Woman Lineup

The women’s division features 13 athletes:

  • Joscelyne O’Brien
  • Jackie Osczevski
  • Jo-Annie Paquet
  • Samantha Koski-Moffat
  • Josée De Lachevrotière
  • Bailey Deschene
  • Inez Carrasquillo
  • Angelica Jardine
  • Taylor Doxey
  • Rebecca Houston
  • Jackie Rhodes
  • Lydia Wallace
  • Ashley Telford

Inez Carrasquillo Returns to Chase Another Title

The 2025 champion, Samantha Belliveau, is not returning to defend her title, opening the door for a new champion.

That immediately puts the spotlight on Inez Carrasquillo, who won North America’s Strongest Woman in 2024 and remains one of the most decorated athletes in the sport. Carrasquillo has built an impressive resume with victories at marquee events including the Arnold Strongwoman Classic and Rogue Invitational, making her one of the favorites entering Victoriaville.

She’ll face stiff competition from Angelica Jardine, another proven champion whose victories include the 2024 Arnold Strongwoman Classic and the 2023 America’s Strongest Woman title. Jardine has consistently been one of the sport’s most reliable performers and rarely finishes outside the podium.

The battle for the top three should also feature returning bronze medalist Samantha Koski-Moffat, along with experienced competitors like Jackie Rhodes and Jackie Osczevski, giving the division plenty of depth beyond its headline favorites.

One of North America’s Premier Strength Events

With a week remaining before competition begins, athletes are entering the final stages of preparation before traveling to Quebec. Between former champions, international veterans, and rising stars, both divisions feature deep, balanced fields capable of producing a highly competitive weekend.

As one of the premier Strongman contests for American and Canadian athletes, the 2026 North America’s Strongest Man & Woman competitions could provide an important momentum boost heading into the remainder of the international strength sports calendar.
