Does Alcohol Affect Muscle Growth?

Affect on Testosterone

Generation Iron liquor

Alcohol can have an adverse affect on testosterone levels. Testosterone is a great fat burner and alcohol hinders this process. Rather than being broken down to all fat, alcohol is converted to acetate. Higher levels of acetate in the body prevents fat loss. But that’s not all. Your testosterone levels can remain impaired for as long as 24 hours after consumption. Keeping on fat defeats the purpose of pumping up at the gym in the first place.
