Hafthor Bjornsson is an absolute beast!

Strongman competitions feature the most powerful humans to walk the earth. Year in and year out, strongman competitors are always pushing their training to new heights in hopes of breaking through to the next level.


In order to achieve higher levels of strengths a strongman has to be diligent and dedicated to the idea of gradually building strength in each and every training session. While a competitor may not be able to smash through PRs in every single gym session, by gradually building up their strength their able to achieve higher levels of performance as they work through training camp.

That appears to be the exact approach former World’s Strongest Man Hafthor Bjornsson has taken in his bid to crush the competition at the Arnold Strongman Classic 2020.

Recently, Hafthor Bjornsson had a pretty good gym session, one that saw him not only destroy his PR, but that unofficially broke a world record!

During a deadlifting session, Hafthor Bjornsson pulled a remarkable 1058 lbs, a truly impressive feat! The Instagram clip below shows the former World’s Strongest Man shattering the record.

With such impressive strength on display, it’s obvious that Hafthor Bjornsson is one of the contenders to take home victory at the 2020 Arnold Classic.
