Nick Walker Speaks On Arnold Classic Prep, Use Of Steroids During “Dry Out Process”

Arnold Classic

Nick Walker recently discussed his use of oral steroids during his prep for the 2023 Arnold Classic.

Since he has entered the 2023 Arnold Classic, Nick Walker has taken over as the favorite in the competition. With one month until showtime, Walker broke down his prep for Columbus and shared which PEDs he erases before the show and which are active all the way through.

Walker is preparing to take the stage at the Arnold for the first time since his title in 2021. This was his rookie year, here he made a name for himself as one of the top competitors in the world. Walker backed up that notion during the 2022 Olympia, finishing third.

The payout for the Arnold winner skyrocketed to $300,000 and some top names decided to take the challenge. Walker will be tasked with the likes of Andrew Jacked and Big Ramy this time around.

Nick Walker Explains PEDs And Contest Prep

On Thursday, Nick Walker joined Guy Cisternino on the Mutant And The Mouth podcast. During the interview, he revealed that he removes most PEDs about 10 days before the event.

“What we normally do, we keep orals in the whole time, we don’t take those out. We’ll remove that [Clenbuterol], I’m talking about orals. Yeah, the Proviron stays in the Winnie [Winstrol] T3 stays in, all those, Clen will come out – 10 days out we stop test, seven days out we’ll stop everything else.”

Nick Walker continues to say that he stops injectables and oils before the show because they can make the body maintain water.

“No, we’ll actually stop Growth. For me, sometimes two weeks out. Test, Tren, Mas. A couple of reasons, he doesn’t want any inflammation from the shot. Two, the oils and injectables do make you hold some type of water. So, he pulls them all out. The orals stay in. The AIs stay in, then we kind of just go for the dry out process.”

Along with his PED use, Walker went through some of the meals that he is eating at this point of his prep. Walker is taking in more protein so he eats around 224 grams of chicken and jasmine rice. This goes with 100 grams of banana and 20 grams of almond butter. This will allow the body to recover after workouts.

Nick Walker will pull back his prep at some point. This is a common method he uses because it allows him to use fuller on stage. This time around, it will go toward winning his second Arnold Classic title.

“I rather get ready early. Because I think, say you wait till the last minute to get in shape, you may come on stage looking a little flat, a little stringy, a little beat down right. Say you’re ready a few weeks out, you can pull back now…think in my opinion, being ready early is the best way to go about it.”
