This one is simple. The best workout partner is always on time. Period. Even if there’s a violent personal crisis, they’ll be there. Okay, maybe that’s taking it too far. But you get the idea.

Push and Pull
The best workout partner is someone who can lift your spirits and motivate you on an off day. That’s the main point, right? They have to know you well enough to be able to push those buttons to get you off your butt and back into intense muscle training.
But there is a limit. Your workout partner also has to know when something is off. When pushing you too hard will lead to injury – which would, in turn, lead to even more time away from the gym. A good workout partner knows your limits and you know theirs.

Now here’s where things get a little more abstract. The best workout partner – and now we are talking about the very best – is the kind of person that makes you both feel impervious to failure. The attitude that screams, “It’s us against the world.” You are now unstoppable. You are both rising to new levels of success, muscle mass, and into the realm of champions.
It’s a hard feeling to match and a hard bond to form, but once you find it – there’s nothing that compares. Like we said, it’s a brotherhood. It’s far more than two people working out. It’s destiny.
