The news of Guilherme Henrique’s death was shared by his girlfriend on Monday.
Professional Bodybuilder Guilherme Henrique, known as Gui Bull, passed away at 30 years old on Monday.
The news was confirmed by Henrique’ girlfriend, Jessica Belenello. The cause of death is being described as asphyxiation due to bronchoaspiration. Belenello shared a heartfelt message on social media as a tribute to Gui Bull.
“Gui is the love of my life. He was an incredible person, full of light, and deserves to be remembered as such. The pain of his loss is immense, and we will treat him with the dignity he deserves.”
Belenello also asked for the public to show respect during this time and begin circulating the truth surrounding Gui Bull’s death.
“The cause of death was asphyxiation due to bronchoaspiration and has nothing to do with the speculation that has been circulating. If you don’t have anything good to say, a word of affection, consolation or respect, simply keep quiet.”
Authorities have reportedly ordered an autopsy to get more details around his death.
Gui Bull’s Bodybuilding & Fitness Career
Guilherme Henrique had a passion for fitness and it began at a young age. He was able to turn it into a successful career in multiple ways.
Gui Bull competed in Classic Physique and Classic Bodybuilding over the course of his career. He won five championships on stage.
Henrique held a degree in Biology from the State University of Parana. He also held a master’s degree and PhD in Biochemistry. At the time of his death, Henrique was studying to achieve a degree in Nutrition at the University Center of Maringa.
The Parana Fisiculturismo Federation shared a tribute to Henrique as well:
“Gui Bull was not just an athlete; he was a human being with a giant heart, who radiated energy and inspired everyone with his determination and sportsmanship.”
The news of Gui Bull’s death comes shortly after bodybuilder Pablo Ayala passed away after a long battle with colon cancer. Ayala made his professional debut during the 2012 Tampa Pro, where he finished ninth. This was the first of five Top 10 finishes of his career. He finished ninth in Tampa twice and reached seventh during the 2014 Europa Phoenix Pro.
Guilherme Henrique made an impact in his hometown as he trained to become a successful bodybuilder. He made an impact on many others who wanted to build the best version of themselves.
