Brian Shaw Talks Past Beef with Hafthor Bjornsson, Desire to Train with The Rock

Brian Shaw has had many disagreements with Hafthor Bjornsson.

One of the most well recognized strength athletes on the planet, Brian Shaw has established himself as one of the true greats of strongman competition. Mild mannered and always looking to push himself, Shaw has garnered a massive following over the years.

The four-time World’s Strongest Man champion, Brian Shaw has pushed himself to the limit in training and competition. His ability to dominate the competition garnered a fair share of rivalries in the past. When you’re at the top of the mountain it’s only natural that someone else will want to knock you off. One such competitor was Hafthor Bjornsson.

Bjornsson, or Thor as he’s usually called, has apparently had his fair share of dust ups with Shaw in the past. In a recent YouTube video, Shaw explained the nature of his past disagreements with Thor during a Q&A.

“I’m certainly not going to sit here and say that Hafthor and I have not had some disagreements and some heated disagreements at that.”

Shaw suggests he and Thor have had far more disagreements than the Icelandic strongman has had with heated rival Eddie Hall.

In the same Q&A Brian Shaw mentions that he would love to train with The Rock. The four-time World’s Strongest Man expressed genuine interest in training with The Rock at the actor and wrestling superstar’s “Iron Paradise” gym. To see the full Q&A click here.
