Calum von Moger Avoids Jail Time After Road Rage Incident

Calum von Moger was able to avoid a conviction after road rage incident back in January.

After getting himself in hot water in a road rage incident back in January, it appears that Calum von Moger has avoided jail time. The popular bodybuilder appears to have avoided criminal charges after a road rage incident back in January. The incident which took place in Melbourne, Australia, saw the popular bodybuilder puncturing the tires of another drivers vehicle.

While such an incident would usually result in some serious criminal punishment, it appears that Calum von Moger is avoiding any serious consequences. Bernard Campigli Was able to get von Moger off stating that a conviction could potentially hurt his clients chances of getting work in the US. Campigli Asserted that von Moger was victim to a number of carjacking while he was living in Los Angeles California. These incidents apparently left him traumatized which triggered the road rage incident that occurred back in January.

Campigli went on to state that Calum von Moger has a son here in the US and conviction would potentially separate them. The lawyer also indicated that con Moger had been struggling emotionally after the death of his support dog. These defense were apparently enough to get von Moger off the hook.

Judges Ruling

Judge Roslyn Porter who stated that “frightening and totally unacceptable”, did however take von Moger’s mental health into account. The judge decreed that von Moger would have to pay a $2,500 fine. She also ordered von Moger to undergo mental health treat and be on good behavior for 12 months.

Considering the seriousness of these charges Calum von Moger can count himself lucky for escaping jail time.
