Dolph Lundgren shares that he is cancer free after a nine-year battle.
Dolph Lundgren became known for his incredible physique in films like Rocky IV. He previously shared that he has been battling lung cancer since 2015 but after nine years, Lundgren seems to be cancer free.
In a recent health update, Lundgren spoke before one final operation to remove a dead tumor that would leave him cancer free.

Lundgren is know across the world as an iconic action star and martial artist. He dominated the silver screen during the 80s and 90s alongside the likes of Jean Claude Van Damme, Sylvester Stallone, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. He has long been beloved in the bodybuilding and fitness community due to his physique and physical ability.

Dolph Lundgren Shares Health Update
Dolph Lundgren shared an update from UCLA where he was preparing for an operation to remove a final tumor. Lundgren has been through many rounds over the years in hopes of finding what works. He worked with Dr. alexandra Drakaki, who helped find what worked.
“Here I am in UCLa about to go in and get rid of that last dead tumor and since there are no cancer cells in my body anymore, then I guess I’ll be cancer free.”

Doctors were able to help identify the cancer. He went through a procedure to remove cancerous cells and get rid of the tumors and scar tissue. This procedure was to remove one final dead tumor.
“A long oblation, that’s what I’m doing. It’s been a rough ride and it really taught me how to live in the moment and enjoy every moment of life. I mean, it’s the only way to go.”
Lundgren admitted to trying steroids at the heights of his career but did not believe it was connected to his cancer.
“I tried steroids back in the 80s-90s. I don’t know if it has anything to do with cancer. Of course, it struck me. It could have had something to do with it.”
