Dorian Yates is looking shredded and jacked!
Dorian Yates is still jacked and shredded at the advanced age of 62. In a recent post to his social media, Yates looked impressive as he trained with his daughter Tahnee at Marbella Beach.
One of the legends of bodybuilding, Dorian Yates completely revolutionized the sport during his reign as Mr. Olympia. Yates was the first to bring the mass monster look into the forefront. Since then many bodybuilders tried to replicate that look by putting on a tremendous amount of muscle. Yates ushered in the age of the massive bodybuilder and his influence can still be seen to this day.
But while having massive muscle was beneficial to him as a reigning Olympia champion, once returning to normal life it wasn’t nearly as convenient to carry around. Dorian Yates decided to size down after his bodybuilding career as many other athletes often do. The five-time Mr. Olympia switched his focus from lifting heavy to healing his body. Utilizing holistic methods of training, most prominently yoga, Yates was able to regain flexibility in his body which healed a great deal of his aches and pains. Yoga at its most advanced isn’t for the faint of heart, yet Yates has mastered the art and has made it a staple in his training.
But while he may not be aiming to stack pounds of muscle onto his frame these days, Dorian Yates hasn’t totally abandoned lifting. In fact, it’s an important piece of his training and why he still looks jacked at age 62. In a recent post to his Instagram, Yates showed off his shredded frame while training with his daughter. The two trained at Marbella Beach and both are in great shape.
Sunglasses… in the gym?!🤯😂
30 years later and I suppose I can now train with my sunglasses on!😎
Here training with a view at Marbella Beach Gym with my daughter Tahnee and hitting some neutral grip lat pulldowns. Controlled movement throughout with a squeeze as always… and a full stack.😉
Have a good weekend everyone!🙏

It’s clear that Dorian Yates hasn’t lost a step since retiring from bodybuilding. He’s been able to maintain an impressive amount of muscle mass while remaining healthy and flexible. It’s the kind of ideal physique that almost anyone would want to have. Yates is a true inspiration to anyone looking to lift into their advanced age. The same dedication he used to become an Olympia champion is serving him well in retirement. It’s truly something to aspire to.
