Trainer Tyler Wall was in the midst of helping a contestant lose 100 pounds as part of a challenge.
Fitness coach Tyler Wall passed away suddenly at 38 years old while being apart of MrBeast’s latest video. The news of Wall’s death was released in the video, which was released on Saturday.
According to an obituary, Wall passed away on Feb. 18.
Wall was apart of MrBeast’s latest video titled “Lose 100 LBs, Win $250,000!” He challenged Majd Khader, who entered at 324 pounds, to reach a weight-loss goal in order to win the grand prize. Khader lived in a private home with a gym, healthy food, and much more to help him reach his goals.
Early in the video, Wall was introduced to Khader and aided in his training and diet plan. He quickly developed a friendship with Khader after spending an ample amount of time together. In the video, production shares the news of Wall’s tragic passing to Khader.
“It is with profound sadness that we share the unexpected passing of Coach Tyler Wall. Coach Wall was a remarkable individual whose kindness and genuine spirit touched all who knew him. His loss has left our hearts heavy with grief.”
Before the release of the video, MrBeast reached out to Wall’s family to make sure they wanted the video shared. They expressed that Wall “would have wanted his message of hope and positivity to continue reaching others, even in his absence.”
Tyler Wall’s Role in Weight Loss Challenge
Tyler Wall was seen early in MrBeast’s video sharing different fitness tips with Khader. He helped him in the gym, showing off new exercises, while also sharing ways to put together healthy meals.
As of now, the cause of death has not been confirmed by MrBeast or members of Wall’s family. According to Newsweek, the death was ruled an accident with the immediate cause listed as Mitragynine Toxicity.
Khader decided to continue on with his goals because he did not want to let himself or Wall down. In the end, he reached his overall goals and was awarded the large prize. Many have shared condolences to Wall on social media in the comments section of the video. MrBeast also ended by asking for respect to Wall’s family during this time.
