GoodVito Suffers Knee Injury During Guest Posing Appearance In Brazil

GoodVito shared news of his injury on social media on Sunday.

Vitaliy Ugolnikovknown as GoodVitosuffered a knee injury during a guest posing appearance in Brazil over the weekend. He took to Instagram to share the news of his injury, along with a video and thanks to his fans for their support.

In the video, GoodVito is seen jumping off the stage to continue his performance but buckles. He continued to finish his routine and admitted to being in pain for the final part. It is unknown what his exact injury is but Ugolnikov believes he might have a torn ligament in his knee.

GoodVito began in the IFBB Elite Pro League and made the jump to NPC. He earned his Pro Card in 2022 during the Musclecontest International Brazil Nationals. 

Ugolnikov was not yet qualified for the 2023 Olympia but planned to do so this summer. After suffering an injury, he will take some time off to recover before returning to train.

GoodVito Thanks Fans And Supporters

GoodVito recently moved to Brazil and wanted to show off his improved physique to fans. On Sunday, he took to his Instagram stories to speak to his fans.

“I made a mistake today. I hurt my knee landing from too high a height. It’s impossible to step on my leg, I may have torn a ligament in my knee. It was a rash move that cost me my health. A second of recklessness that affected my life.”

“I continued to pose for you, my dear audience, in pain, leave the stage and immediately falls. Take care of yourselves, let this situation serve as a lesson for you, which can save you from unnecessary actions.”

GoodVito also shared a video in a wheelchair and getting medical treatment. He will likely continue to share more details as he finds out what injury he has suffered. Many have reached out to Ugolnikov over the last 24 hours.

“I would like to sincerely thank everyone for their support. I have received over 500 messages wishing me a speedy recovery! I’m really happy to have some many people supporting me. I read all the messages received. You guys give me strength to keep going! I hug each and every one of you who paid attention to me.”

During his time on stage, Ugolnikov has impressed with his insane size and conditioning. Because of this, there are plenty of eyes on GoodVito and believe he can be a champion at the next level. This will be a minor setback in what could be an extremely successful career for GoodVito.
