Hadi Choopan receives hero’s welcome.
The 2020 Olympia was indeed one of the most memorable ever. There were many factors that contributed to this. 2020 itself saw it’s fair share of ups and downs with the global health crisis affecting nearly everything. The return of Phil Heath was also a major talking point, one that dominated much of the conversation.
The special invite for Big Ramy also caused a major stir, many believing that he should have earned his spot. How they wrong they were. Another narrative circled around Brandon Curry and if he’d be able to defend his title. The 2019 Olympia champion looked impressive in this year’s showing.
Another major narrative ahead of the show was the status of Hadi Choopan and his visa issues. One of the most talented bodybuilders in the world and top three in 2019, Hadi Choopan has proven himself to be top of the food chain. Hadi Choopan could have nearly earned a third place spot at this past year’s show as well.
After his American excursion, Hadi Choopan received a hero’s welcome in his return home to Iran.
