Rambod broke down Kalecinski’s entire frame and pointed out the importance of posing during the video as well.
“The X-frame that he carries here is looking really, really good. You can see the pec development. The shoulder development looks right on point. He’s not naturlaly as wide as Wesley or some of these other guys but he is trying to show what he has to be able to accentuate the X-frame.”
Kalecinski earned his Pro Card at 21 years old. He began weightlifting at 13 and this eventually sparked an interest in bodybuilding. Before earning his Pro Card, Kalecinski won the 2018 German Nationals naturally. He began using different gear during his 12-week prep leading up to becoming a pro but felt that winning naturally was necessary first.
Hany Rambod Discusses Urs Kalecinski’s Physique
While Rambod had plenty of good things to say about Urs Kalecinski’s physique, he admitted there are certain areas that can use improvement. He began discussing Kalecinski’s arms in this aspect.
“What I’d like to see is that tricep fullness. I would like him to be able to fill in to try to create even more width. His pecs look really good, he would use a little more upper pec, but again I’m nitpicking here. If he could work a little bit more on overall arm thickness, it would make a huge difference.”
When pinpointing one area that Kalecinski needed the most, it was his back width. Rambod believes he can achieve this with bentover rows and lat pulldowns using different grips.
“He’s not naturally super wide in the first place but if he can keep building that back up, that’s going to help him tremendously with that optical illusion width.”
Hany Rambod rated Urs Kalecinski’s physique an 8.5 overall out of 10. He has always been one of the top posers in bodybuilding and Rambod believes this is an extremely important aspect. He urges those out there to present what you want to show off what you want.
“The judges will not judge you on what you look like. They will judge you on what you present. If you look amazing but you’re not flexing your legs, but they are ripped, they’re not going to judge you on the fact that you have ripped legs.
“If he was twisting and rotating his body in that direction, his upper body, keeping his legs exactly the way that they are, what he’s going to be able to do is show much more of that width.”
