Julius Maddox Crushes New Bench Press Rep PR at 710lbs!

Julius Maddox is chasing that new world record.

Being a strength athlete means testing your limits. Not only that, it means surpassing your own limits and overcoming your perceived limitations. The reality of being a strength athlete is that if you aren’t looking to improve then you will simply stagnate and remain the same. The goal is to always get to the next level no matter where you are on your journey.

Strength Wars Movie

For powerlifter Julius Maddox his journey has taken him to the world record bench press. He’s even tried to break his own record with an 800lbs bench press last year. Unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be. But Maddox hasn’t given up the battle to get back to 800.

Now as he continues to train and improve his strength, Julius Maddox has hit another career milestone. In a recent Instagram video Julius Maddox showcased his grit and ever increasing strength with a new personal record. The powerlifter smashed through a 322kg/710lbs for three reps and made it look easy.
