The Masters Olympia competition officially made its return in 2023. The event was held at the BT Arena in Cluj Napoca, Romaniawhere all 10 divisions in bodybuilding were present to compete. Kamal Elgargni highlighted the event with a victory in Men’s Open. The event was not part of the IFBB Pro League schedule this year but will make its return in August 2025.
Greene recently posted a video with the caption, “Don’t call it a comeback.” This started the initial conversation and now, the question was asked about the Masters.
“There’s a lot of real good conversation to have and you know me, if there’s anything I’ve learned from this experience up to this point, it’s all about having these conversations.”
Kai Greene Claims He Never Retired From Bodybuilding
Kai Greene joined Generation Iron for an exclusive interview where he dove into his latest comments and a potential return to the stage. Many have been calling for a return but there is another group that believes it might be too late.
“Some think it’s too late, that I should’ve returned five years ago. But I’ve never officially retired.”
Kai Greene posted another video showcasing that the big reveal was a new supplement company, Pro Am. While this may not have been the comeback fans were hoping for, Kai did not shut the door on a comeback entirely. In fact, he has continued to speak openly about using his Pro Am launch as the first step towards a real comeback to the stage.
While Greene hints at “unfinished business” and a lingering desire to claim a title that has eluded him, he stops short of confirming a competitive return. Instead, his focus is firmly on Pro Am. His next step into this new business is the beginning of a comeback into the world of bodybuilding as a whole. A place where he can give back to the next generation.
Whether or not Kai Greene graces the competitive stage again, his legacy continues to evolve, inspiring countless individuals to pursue greatness both inside and outside the gym.
