Larry Wheels is the IFBB’s newest pro and called out another newcomer.
Newly-minuted IFBB Pro Larry Wheels is one of the biggest fitness stars in the world. He earned his Pro Card on Saturday night by winning the Classic Physique division at the 2025 Musclecontest Bullman Pro Qualifier, held in Dublin. After his victory, Wheels took to Instagram and called out Sam Sulek.
Wheels stole the show on Saturday night as he battled other Classic Physique competitors looking to take the next step. He took the stage after being a late entry following a six-week prep. Wheels shared a post on Instagram celebrating his victory and made a call to Sulek asking when he next show would be.
“Just won my pro card. This has been a lifetime goal. Omg. @sam_sulek when is your next show?”
Wheels made his initial push for his Pro Card in 2023. He finished as the runner-up at the Amateur Olympia and came close to accomplishing his final goal. Wheels was on his way to becoming a pro but announced that he would be ending his time as a bodybuilder after a relapse on steroids. He went back to training like a powerlifter and pursuing other goals, such as deadlifting 1,000 pounds.
Wheels quickly shifted his focus to bodybuilding and entered the show in Dublin. He was able to put together a winning physique in just six weeks.
Larry Wheels vs. Sam Sulek Coming Next?
Sam Sulek earned his Pro Card after a victory at the 2025 Arnold Amateur. In February, he finished first at the 2025 NPC Legends Classic in Las Vegas. This gave him qualification into the Arnold and he was able to take advantage of the opportunity.
Sulek has continued to grow in popularity over the years and fans were excited to see his bodybuilding debut. He became known for his incredible physique at a young age but many would also find criticisms in his methods of achieving it, led by his diet. In recent weeks, he cleaned up his diet and focused on losing weight, tailoring his calorie intake to reach this goal.
Sulek put in an incredible amount of work to prepare for this show. He focused on losing weight and tailored his diet plans to reach these goals. This includes cutting down to around 1,900 calories per day to go with extended cardio. The hard work paid off as Sulek was able to build a winning physique ahead of the Arnold Amateur.
Both Wheels and Sulek built incredible followings on social media within the fitness world before taking steps as IFBB Pro competitors. Both will enter as Classic Physique bodybuilders moving forward. If these two enter the same show and go head-to-head, the bodybuilding world will have all eyes on the battle.
