Mateusz Kieliszkowski Out of the 2020 World’s Strongest Man with Triceps Injury

A favorite to win World’s Strongest Man, Mateusz Kieliszkowski is out.

2020 continues to offer up some unfortunate turn of events. It appears that talented strongman competitor Mateusz Kieliszkowski has withdrawn from the 2020 World’s Strongest Man lineup.

According to a recent post on his social media, Mateusz Kieliszkowski confirmed his withdrawal. The reason for his dropping out was due to injury of his triceps.

Already dealing with triceps issues after a previous surgery, it appears that the problem has forced the Polish strongman competitor off the card. Mateusz Kieliszkowski had this to say about his injury and withdrawal from the World’s Strongest Man.

Some bad news this time .. Unfortunately, i will not compete in this year The World’s Strongest Man (WSM)

During the last stretch of the triceps, which had been a problem for me since the previous operation. Planned, re-treatment after the competition and everything was corrected, But it got complicated too fast. I was on painkillers all through my periods and still got great results.

I consider this year really unlucky.
I struggled with health problems during lot of performances, but despite everything, I always managed to participate in them.

In fact, now I think someone just got a great gift from me .. 1st place ..

I’ll try fix this and I’ll be back next year.

I apologize to those who believed in me. Those who helped took an active part in the preparations.

Now I keep my fingers crossed for my friend JF Caron , I believe you will succeed. Give 100 percent of yourself!??

Mateusz Kieliszkowski was considered to be the favorite to take the title this year. With Martins Licis and Hafthor Bjornsson out, Kieliszkowski was expected to have a clear path to victory. Kieliszkowski finished in second place last year and also placed second at the 2020 Strongman Classic event held by Strongman Corp. Hopefully Mateusz Kieliszkowski is able to make a speedy recovery in time for the Arnold Strongman Classic in early 2021.
