The news that Chris Bumstead would be competing in Men’s Open during the EVLS Prague Pro took the bodybuilding world by storm. Mike O’Hearn became the latest to comment on the move and believes it can bring fans back to previous eras.
Bumstead has teased the idea of doing an Open show before completely retiring from bodybuilding. After his victory at the 2024 Olympia, Bumstead announced his retirement from the sport but has decided to do one final show.

O’Hearn used this news to bring up how bodybuilding used to be in the days of Arnold Schwarzenegger and many others.
“I would like to see him win and I would like that to be kind of back to that era of art in a sense where I wouldn’t want Arnold to change anything.”
