“He could definitely be Mr. Universe. I don’t want him to do that though. He is by far so much of a talent in acting that we need more projects of him. But I agree with Ronnie.”
Majors was able to build an impressive physique needed to portray aspiring bodybuilder Killian Maddox in “Magazine Dreams.” Majors is no stranger to fitness. He grew up a tremendous athlete and was given the chance to transform his physique ahead of “Creed III.” In January 2023, Majors shared that he had to increase his diet plan in a big way for four months leading up to his role as Maddox.

Mike O’Hearn Believes Jonathan Majors Can Compete In Bodybuilding
Jonathan Majors has put in the amount of work needed to portray a bodybuilder on the big screen. This came both in the gym and within his diet plan. Not only did he create a believable physique for the movie, but there are professionals that believe he could compete in real life.
“There’s interviews of me from last year saying he’s so believable, he looked incredible, and his dedication. He didn’t have to just perform this, he had to live this for a long time. I agree, he could be Mr. Universe.”
Mike O’Hearn expressed that he would rather Majors stay in acting because of this is where he is at his best. Majors has been apart of many incredible projects and there will be more coming in the future. As for “Magazine Dreams,” O’Hearn had plenty of good things to say about cast, crew, and film as a whole.
“I think this movie wis the Oscar this year. Jonathan deserves this. The crew deserves this. It’s set in a bodybuilding world but it’s the struggle of a man trying to be seen. It’s a beautiful movie.”
