Nick Walker makes this deadlift look easy during his Olympia prep.

During recent training and prep for the 2022 Olympia, top bodybuilder Nick Walker deadlifted a massive for 495lbs for reps. The mass monster who took fifth at the 2021 Olympia shared the impressive feat on social media during a recent hamstring session.

When it comes to massive modern day bodybuilders, Nick Walker takes the cake. With a nickname like “The Mutant” it should come as no surprise that Walker is one of the most massive bodybuilders on the circuit today. His incredible size could not have been cultivated without the help of some big strength.

In order to grow in overall mass and size a bodybuilder must lift heavy and have the right diet for the occasion. Nick Walker has followed a system to ensure that he not only grows in size, but in strength as well. It’s that cultivated strength that recently allowed Walker to deadlift a near 500lbs and make the feat look easy.

In a recent training session in prep for the 2022 Olympia, Nick Walker showed why he’s one of the most popular bodybuilders today. Walker’s approach to the game seems very reminiscent to the era of 90s and 2000s bodybuilding. Walker’s training harkens back to the era where mass monsters and intensive hardcore training was the norm. Walker is reminiscent of a Dorian Yates and a Ronnie Coleman in their prime.
