Nick Walker discussed who his new head coach will be heading into the offseason.
It has been a busy time of change for Nick Walker. He has been working to make improvements and lock in certain changes to his plan for the upcoming year. During a recent workout, Walker shared his new head coach and plan for training and his diet plan.
Walker officially named Kyle Wilkes as his head coach who will oversee his entire process. He will also continue to work with Jared Feather in the gym.
“I’m letting Jared run my training and also, I’ll make the formal announcement now, Kyle Wilkes will be my head coach going forward.”
Walker missed the 2023 Olympia after suffering a hamstring injury but quickly returned to the gym. He had his sights set on the biggest show this year but announced that he would withdraw just weeks before the event. Walker returned to the stage to win the 2024 New York Pro but received criticism from fans regarding his overall performance.

The overall plan is coming together for Nick Walker as the calendar prepares to turn to 2025.
“I got Kyle Wilkes in charge of the diet and all that other stuff and Jared is going to be in charge of the training. They have obviously both been in contact with each other as far as getting on the same page with what they want me to do.”

Walker hit the gym for a push workout when he broke down his plan. He shared his current weight of 283 pounds and was pleased with the progress that has been made.
“We are making very, very great progressions here. Weight is back up to around 283 so we’re in a good spot. I’m happy. They are happy. We’re going to keep this progression going.”
Nick Walker has not competed since the New York Pro back in May. Fans missed out on him at the Olympia but there are thoughts for his return. Walker shared that there are ideas about his next appearance but will announce them at a later date.
“I don’t know if I’m allowed to announce my show yet but we already have a couple shows in mind so I’ll wait to announce it.”
