September 11, 2001 is remembered as one of the worst days in American history. Television host John Wilson encountered a fitness trainer with at a bodybuilding competition that shared shocking words about the disastrous day. The man claims that he trained a hijacker that had a part in the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center and was “proud” because of the commitment.

The show entitled How To With John Wilson is exactly how it sounds. Wilson is a filmmaker who has filmed his journey around New York City interacting with others and sharing his advice on different topics. Wilson, who has made 15 episodes over the course of three seasons, helping others while also going through personal issues of his own.

Of course, this unscripted action can lead to unpredictable and even dark results. That was seen recently when Wilson attended a bodybuilding show that was a tribute to 9/11.

John Wilson Shares Shocking Interview With Trainer

In his most recent episode, John Wilson’s theme was how to workout. He goes to a Planet Fitness and encounters many interesting people across the way. After his trip to the gym, he wants to see the final result so Wilson seeks out those who have dedicated their lives to fitness.

This is how he ended up at a 9/11 themed bodybuilding show in Manhattan. This event will take place once again on Sept. 3 and is a pro qualifier for drug-free competitors.

Wilson meets a trainer while at the show and attends his gym. While there, the two have a shocking conversation about a hijacker involved with 9/11.

“Made me feel proud. Made me feel good that I’d trained somebody for something committed that they were able to pull off. We may not agree with them, but they were committed. That’s what I liked about it.”
