Powerlifter Dan Green Impresses with Intense Strongman and Heavy Lifting Training

Dan Green is building back some quality strength with different methods.

Dan Green is an absolute beast. Time and again he has proven himself to be one of the best of the best on the powerlifting circuit. The powerlifter has put up some truly impressive numbers and earned himself many championships in the process.

Strength Wars Movie

But no lifting journey is without its hardships. Dan Green recently revealed that he couldn’t do the big three lifts due to nerve issues he was suffering. It was truly unfortunate to see Green have to sit out and wait to heal up on the sidelines.

But now it appears that the powerlifter has recovered enough to get back to what he does best. Dan Green is lifting again and lifting heavy at that. He has also added strongman training to his regime as well. Below you can see him perform a heavy farmer’s carry in order to improve his grip strength.

Farmer’s Carry for grip strength
237 lbs each hand (108 kg)
Plus a bunch of trap work.
?Hise shrugs (supersetted with carries)
?Face Pulls
?Chest Supported DB rows
?Band Y raises
Taking some time to follow a slightly modified Trap building regimen from Josh Bryant @jailhousestrong to prioritize my grip training before focusing back on the big 3 in the next training block.
Goal is to carry the 237 each hand for 10 total trips in the workout (20 yards per trip) today I did 7 trips with 237 per hand then the last 3 with 197
Realistically my grip was strong enough but my left hip/leg still struggles under the total load ?‍♂️
