Powerlifter Nathan Alexander Does Impressive 455Lb Pause Front Squat

Nathan Alexander showcases his incredible strength in the front squat.

The front squat can be a pretty awkward exercise. While the back squat is most commonly seen at powerlifting competitions, the front squat offers a great deal of benefits. Being strong in the front squat offers incredible benefits for the back squat.

So it comes as no surprise that talented powerlifter Nathan Alexander has mastered the exercise. Always looking to improve, Alexander is constantly in the gym. The powerlifter is adept in all the big three lifts and has proven himself to be especially proficient in the deadlift.

Always looking to improve upon his already incredible strength, Alexander is sure to switch up his lifting methods. Mastering multiple variations of the big three lifts will only lead to powerlifting supremacy. The front squat in particular will translate over well to the back squat and Alexander has been sure to have it in his regimen.

Recently Nathan Alexander once again outdid himself with a massive front squat of 455lbs. Just like many of the lifts he performs, Alexander pauses at the toughest part of the lift, ensuring he maximizes his strength in the position.

Front Squat Friday. 455, 405×5 and a 495 miss. I did my front squats after my deadlifts this morning. Felt great. Might continue to do so.
