Look who’s back in action. It felt like only yesterday when Conor McGregor suffered that terrible broken leg against his foe Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. Since that time McGregor has laid low for the most part, healing his injury. Now it appears that McGregor is back in action and looking sharp as ever.

Many have claimed that the game is leaving the brash Irishman behind. But footage shows Conor McGregor looking much like the champion of old. McGregor recently shared sparring footage showing him utilizing both his swift punches and kicks.

Back In Action

From what we can tell from this footage, Conor McGregor looks near 100%. While the popular mixed martial artist hasn’t set a date for his return to active competition, what we can see here is that he’s more than ready to get back into the swing of things.

Unusually Fast Recovery

Conor McGregor remains in the active testing pool for USADA meaning that he could be tested for performance enhancing drugs at any time. The interesting part about this is that his recovery has been very quick leading some to question if he could be utilizing substances to help his healing along. But without any concrete proof this is just speculation.

As it stands Conor McGregor is still looking sharp and dangerous and remains a threat to many in the lightweight and welterweight divisions. With a proposed rematch with Floyd Mayweather floating around it seems that the sky is the limit in terms of what McGregor will do next. Until that time however, the Irishman is currently focused on his film career as he films the Roadhouse remake in the Dominican Republic opposite Jake Gyllenhaal.
