In 2023, Rich Gaspari discussed how he believes that calves have not been prioritized by bodybuilders in recent years. Symmetry and balance is important for competitors if they want to be crowned Mr. Olympia. Of course, calves are in the mix and it is interesting to see Gaspari unhappy with the current state of the muscle.

“Seems today the calf muscle is not as important to train and many of today’s bodybuilders neglect calves.”

By the looks of his recent update, it is clear that Rich Gaspari is not neglecting calves or any part of his legs.
