Russel Orhii Shows Insane Strength, Lifts World Record Total of 1907Lbs

Russel Orhii is a powerlifting beast.

Looking to outdo himself and break his own world record, Russel Orhii has pushed his body to the limit. At only 25 years of age, Russel Orhii is setting himself apart in the powerlifting world. Like the newly crown World’s Strongest Man, Russel Orhii could be the future of powerlifting.

Already setting a world record total of 1836lbs, Orhii recently decimated his own numbers. With a 722lb/327.5kg squat, a 441lb/200kg bench, and a 744lb/337.5kg deadlift (a new personal record), Orhii shattered the old world record with a 1907lb/865kg total!

Here’s what Orhii had to say about the feat at his latest meet.

CORRUPTED STRENGTH MOCK MEET RECAP!

I was able to come away with a 1907lbs/865kg total on Saturday, which completely destroys my old world record total of 1836lbs/833kg.

I squatted 722lbs/327.5kg (PR), benched 441lbs/200kg (PR), and deadlifted a huge 744lbs/337.5kg (PR).

I had a little bit left in the tank on squat and bench! 722lbs on squat ended up moving faster than I anticipated (I think I could have done 733-744lbs) and I think I could have squeezed out 446lbs/202kg on bench. My final deadlift attempt was coming out of my left hand a bit once I locked out so I know that probably wouldn’t have gone my way in an IPF sanctioned meet.

All things being said I’m comfortable saying that this performance can transfer over to an actual meet next year! This event seriously had the environment of an actual local meet. I surprisingly had game day butterflies when it was time for the lifting to start ?

@peruvianpufflifter really stepped up and put together an AMAZING event. She’s the one that took care of the planning of the @corruptedstrength Classic, which was only meant to be a mock meet on a normal Saturday ?

I want to thank all the refs, spotters, loaders, lifters, spectators, and my friends that helped out to make this event run smoothly!

I look forward to making this a sanctioned meet that can include more lifters and spectators!!! We have BIG plans for The Corrupted Strength Classic.. this is only the beginning ?
