Ryan Terry explains that photoshops were “innocently done” during recent social media posts.
Ryan Terry was recently accused of photoshopping pictures used on his social media page. The reigning Men’s Physique Olympia champion recently opened up about these photoshops, which he admitted was an “error” on his part.
Terry has been in the sport for a decent amount of time now, and while many thought his time for a Mr. Olympia win was over, he proved everyone wrong by coming home with a 1st place win in the Men’s Physique division at the 2023 Mr. Olympia.

John Dorsey first brought Terry’s photoshopping to light on Wednesday and the Olympia champ opened up about this issue this week.
“Yes, it’s been exposed for Photoshop and I wanted to come on here and eplain what’s going on. It was very innocently done.”

Ryan Terry apologized for his involvement in photoshopping and went onto explain how the mixup happened.
“I’m absolutely gutted, I’m not going to lie, devastated actually because reading the messages sent out people who have looked up to me over the years are now disappointed in me and won’t be following me anymore. It actually guts me. From me to you guys, I absolutely apologize on that front.”
Ryan Terry Explains Recent Photoshop
Terry claims that he did not have his regular videographer with him in New York. A friend of his edited a photo for him to use on Instagram.
“I’m out here in New York and I haven’t gotten my videographer out here. He couldn’t come to New York and is set to come to Vegas.
Innocently a friend of mine, Johny, who is with me every step of the way, took these pictures. He’s actually in pictures as well and he sent them and he did edit that image, not because he thought I looked bad but he thought he was doing a good thing by slightly editing it.”

Terry continued to explain how he should have studied the picture more before posting it. He admitted the error and will continue to focus on the Olympia.
“I’m going to put the original one up next to it to show you the difference in it. My own fault. I should have checked it. Error on my part, error on Johnny’s part, but it was an innocent error. I take a lot of pride in my work, my content, my career, and what I’ve done in the industry so far and I really don’t want to tarnish everything that I’ve worked really, really hard on.”
Terry is in the final stages of his prep for the 2024 Olympia as he looks to defend his title. He was able to build a championship physique ahead of the 2023 competition. That is Terry’s ultimate goal once again.
