Sam Sulek is preparing for his first appearance at the Arnold Classic.

Sam Sulek is currently getting ready to compete in the biggest show of his career. After earning his Pro Card, Sulek set his sights on the 2026 Arnold Classic and has officially entered his name into the mix. He has been preparing to bring the best physique possible to the stage and recently shared an update as we are now 11 weeks away from the show.

Sulek earned his Pro Card at the 2025 Arnold Amateur in the Classic Physique division. Sulek earned qualification to this show following a victory at the 2025 Legends Classic in Las Vegas just weeks before. This was Sulek’s bodybuilding debut competition after he built a reputation as one of the most popular fitness stars in the world.

Sam Sulek acknowledged a potential move to Men’s Open. He is focused on Classic Physique for the 2026 year but there is always a chance to move up. Sulek claims that this would happen if he grows out of the weight cap. As of now, he will compete in Classic Physique and compete with some of the best in the world on the Arnold Classic stage.

The latest update from Sam Sulek came on his YouTube page, where he hit a chest day as he focuses on cutting down. At this point, Sulek wants to get shredded and has tailored his workouts to accomplish these goals.

The 2026 Arnold Classic will feature a loaded lineup across the board once again. Among the Men’s Open division includes multiple champions but Classic Physique also has some of the world’s biggest names. Sulek will go head-to-head with Mike Sommerfeld, who has finished second at the Olympia in each of the last two years. He is also reigning Arnold champion in the division. Wesley Vissers will also make his return to competition after taking time away after last year’s competition.

Sam Sulek Age, Height, and Weight

  • Sam Sulek stands at 5’11” tall, and is still very young, having just turned 22 in February of 2024. Though he is young, he still carries around a massive amount of muscle mass and relatively low body fat levels, even during his bulking phase. It is also worth noting that his muscle mass is very matured, meaning there are striations and it is well-developed as though he has been lifting for decades.
  • When he is trying to put on size, Sam Sulek weighs around 240lbs. It is not often that you see younger bodybuilders holding that much muscle.

So, how did he get that big? While some solely blame steroids for his success, Sulek’s weight, like most bodybuilders, is not constant. His weight certainly varies based on his bulking routine or cutting periods. Many bodybuilders tend to fluctuate in weight or put on more mass to develop more of his muscles. At the end of one of his cutting seasons in October 2023, Sulek weighed in at 233 lbs (105 kg).
