Sam Sulek was victorious during the Legends Classic and will now look to earn his Pro Card.
It is official. Sam Sulek officially made his bodybuilding debut and it was a success.
Sulek competed at the 2025 Legends Classic in Las Vegas on Saturday. He finished first overall in the Classic Physique division at the NPC show and earned qualification for the Arnold Amateur in a few weeks. This is where Sulek will look to earn his Pro Card with another victory.
“Frankly, at least for these last couple days, that’s a big weight taken off my shoulders.”
Sulek has quickly become one of the biggest fitness influencers in the bodybuilding world in recent years. He quickly became known for his incredible physique at a young age but many would criticize his methods of achieving it, led by his diet. In recent weeks, he cleaned up his diet and focused on losing weight, tailoring his calorie intake to reach this goal. Now, the overall goal is to take the stage and work toward becoming a pro.

Sam Sulek Qualifies For 2025 Arnold Amateur
Sulek has been sharing videos of his workouts and days of eating as he cut down this winter. He explained that those days are over but does not plan to change much in terms of his calorie intake or workouts. Sulek will also continue to do cardio each day for at least one hour. It helped him build a physique that won his first show and he will now continue on into Columbus.
“This competition season has not yet come to an end. It’s going to be over at the end of the month at the Arnold.”
Sam Sulek shared that he weighed in at 216 pounds the morning before the competition. After carving up and drinking more water than usual, and eating his first cheat meal after the show, he expected to come in at around 230 the day after.
Sulek competed in the Classic Physique division and was glad that this was his decision after seeing Open competitors.
“Those Open guys were huge. They were legit pros from different federations. If I had to go up against them, this would be a very different conversation. I’m comfortable in Classic right where I’m at.”
Sulek hit In-N-Out after his victory and ordered four double cheeseburgers and a large Diet Coke. Sulek will now focus on improvements that will be needed to win the Arnold.
“Going into the Arnold, I gave a lot to improve. Generalized posing, front relaxed, side, just the detailed work. I’m going to make sure I come in a little bit leaner.”
