Sebastian Oreb, Strength Coach to Hafthor Bjornsson, Squats a Massive 400 Kg

Sebastian Oreb showcases some impressive strength.

When it comes to strength sports you’re only as good as your training. If you want to be the best you have to train with the best. Hafthor Bjornsson is one of the strongest humans to walk this Earth. Not only has he dominating Icelandic strongman contests, but he also won the 2018 World’s Strongest Man. Suffice it to say the man has a talent for lifting heavy objects.

But that doesn’t happen in a vacuum. Hafthor Bjornsson didn’t simply wake up the strongest man in the world one day. What it took for him to get there was hard work, consistency, as well as a solid coach.

Even the best must be trained in order to unlock their full potential. For Hafthor Bjornsson training under the watchful eye of Sebastian Oreb has taken him to the soaring heights of strongman greatness.

Sebastian Oreb is simply a strength coach. In order to coach properly you must be knowledgeable about the subject matter yourself. Oreb has that knowledge in spades. In fact Oreb has won the 2018 WRPF Australian Championship, proving that he’s a powerlifter not to be reckoned with.

Sebastian Oreb continued to showcase his incredible strength with a recent 400 kg (881 lbs) squat. While other lifters failed at this attempt, Oreb smashed through the squat with impressive power.

400kg / 881lbs squat. PB!!! ?? It’s only a training lift so it doesn’t count for anything officially, but either way this is a milestone that I would have never believed was possible in my lifetime. I’m so happy I got this. When I rocked up at the gym so many of the guys and girls from my team turned up to help me get this weight today! Even my mum @nilaoreb and mother in law @vickyjohnson_15 found out I was going for something big so they even turned up ?❤️ Thank you guys so much. I couldn’t have done it without everyone in this video ????❤️❤️ @basebodybabes @cameronoreb @dinnyj @godlystrong @pale_horse_powerlifting @sonnywebstergb @jamesyammine @theanimalkid1 @_kevinyuan @annieshortstrength @ben.orbase @basegym
