The Shaw Classic results are in.

Recently Brian Shaw decided to put on his first Shaw Classic featuring some of the best strongman competitors on the planet. With $50,000 up for grabs, each competitor pushed themselves to come out on top.

Major names like recent World’s Strongest Man winner Oleksii Novikov and Jerry Pritchett were at the competition. Now the results are in for the Shaw Classic. Brian Shaw ended up taking first place at the event. The strongman apparently forfeited his prize money.

The contest saw six events in a test of sheer strength and ultimate determination as competitors embarked on a tight race throughout the whole event. Points were always changing as competitors dueled for first each and every event. It was quite a treat for fans to see such strong competition as they rooted for their favorite to win.

Day one of the event saw classic events like the log press, super yoke, and medley, while day two consisted of the hummer tire deadlift, circus dumbbell for reps, and atlas stones. All favorite events of fans, the Shaw Classic truly delivered with a great show as the host ultimately came out on top.

Results

  1. Brian Shaw – forfeited prize money
  2. JF Caron – $12,100

Brian Shaw posted the below to his Instagram page.

Thank you for all your support! I am so proud of what my team and I were able to get accomplished this past weekend with the Shaw Classic!

I was very concerned about how I would preform after doing so much work leading up to the contest and somehow I was able to get it done. It was truly an honor to compete with all of these great athletes and their performances were nothing short of incredible!

If you still want to watch the Shaw Classic it is part of the exclusive content section on the Shaw Elite Club.
